Installing Chain Link Fence: A Step-by-Step Guide:

- Mark the area where the fence will be installed.
- Choose post type (steel, wood, concrete) keeping spacing between posts typically ranges from 8 to 10 feet. Consider the fence height when sizing the posts. Common heights include 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 feet.
- Use a post hole digger to dig holes for the posts, ensuring they are deep enough for stability (at least 1/3 of the post’s height should be underground).
- Place the posts in the hole vertical position and fill the holes with concrete for or compacted soil.
- Install tension wires at the top and bottom of the fence line. These wires provide support and help to keep the fence taut.
- Unroll the chain link fabric along the fence line securing the top and bottom of the fabric to the first post using clips or ties.
- Install line wires at regular intervals along the fence line to provide additional support for the chain link fabric.
