Types of Waterproofing.

1) APP bitumen membranes

The APP membrane, short for Atactic Polypropylene Membrane, is a special waterproofing material that is manufactured from Bitumen commonly used on concrete flat roofs or roofs with a low pitch. It is used to protect pitched roofs, roads, terraces, and domed structures from rainfall or water damage.

We recommend covering of App waterproofing membrane with interlocking tiles or screed if the area is trafficable (people walk on the area).

2) Liquid Sealants.

Liquid waterproofing uses a coating material to weatherproof flat roofs. Examples include Liquid Styrene-butadiene copolymer latex and fleece liquid membrane. A roofing sealant is a quick and easy solution that is simple and easy to use,

3) Cementitious Waterproofing

Cementitious waterproofing is used in wet areas like toilets and bathrooms. It is use on a flat roof is not ideal due to expansion and contraction that take place in cementitious waterproofing when exposed to sunlight.
